See Tasmania on Motorcycles and Rent from Phil! We recently spent 10 days on motorcycles rented from Phil of Tasmanina Motorcycle Tours and Rentals and had an absolute blast. Phil was so accomodating from the booking through to the end of our travels. He communicated with me multiple times about my concerns with the height of the F800GS (I'm 5 foot 1 inch), allowed us to add handle bar risers onto the bike temporarily, gave us advise about what not to miss on our ride, picked us up and re-delivered us back to our places of lodging, and even loaned me the inner bags for the Givi Vario boxes (which I loved and went home and bought for my bike there). You can't ask for a better guy. His depot is sited close to Hobart making an easy jaunt to pick up bikes and return them and he has a lot of bikes so you are sure to find one to suit you. If you are considering a tour around Tasmania don't waste another minute thinking about it! We loved every minute of our time there. 6 days 'behind bars': weaving through the Tarkine TMTR does it again! This is my 3rd trip around Tas with TMTR and the service just keeps getting better. Fantastic range of bikes and gear options to choose from, a dedicated space to pack / unpack and a team of people with the knowledge and experience to make it seem 'easy' - what more can we ask for?The 1250 Beemer ran like clockwork, averaging 330kms a day around the west coast roads. Tasmania. Epic. Been back a couple of weeks so its all sunk in a bit. Word to all potential visitors to Tasmnia looking for a good bike, i'm 100% recommending Phil's place. Tasmania is epic all on its own, but Phil has some great, well maintained bikes and stacks of gear (check sizes first) so you dont have to carry all your stuff halfway round the world before the event. It was a Goodie The organisation and trip suggestions were well thought out. It’s like they built the roads for motorcycle travel. Lots of corners with little traffic to contend with as soon as you leave any built up areas. Thanks Phil for organising sunshine, excellent bikes and accom. We all enjoyed ourselves.

Great biking experience, made seamless by TMTR I had a thoroughly enjoyable trouble-free week touring WestTasmania on a Triumph Tiger 800. TMTR were excellent and I especially appreciated the airport pick-up and drop-off, which made the whole experience seamless. This was my second trip to Tasmania and there is much more to explore - no road is boring and I love the traffic-free twisties.

Tamanian Motorcycle Hire Best Experience The attention to detail was phenomenal. We did over $2000 klm on these bikes without a hitch. they picked us up from the hotel and dropped us of they gave fantastic directions via GPS presets. Tasmania has some of the best motorcycle roads in the world. Full credit to Phil for making it so easy. And the fact that no one ran out of Talent 🙂

Phil was great to deal with and has a great fleet of bikes. Touring Tassy on a bike is one of the best things you can do! My brothers and I only had four days but we took advantage of a week of good weather and covered 1400km. Phil was great to deal with and as we were just hiring the bikes and not doing a guided trip, he gave us a few tips for here and there along the way. I look forward to heading back one day to finish off the bits we didn't have time to see!

Wow, what a fantastic experience! Just finished a 5 day self guided tour with my wife, both riding BMW700GS bikes. Right from my initial enquiries to picking up the bikes Phil was brilliant to deal with and takes care of every detail from route planning to booking accomodation. Simply turn up in Taz with your helmet and gear and off you go stress-free following the bikes gps route. Some of the most memorable riding, scenery and roads I’ve experienced. I highly recommend TMTR. Do yourself a favour and book a tour with them.

Rented BMW G-310 (and safety gear) for one week; (counter-clockwise) motorbike tour of Tasmania. Great experience, good weather, motorbike in fine condition. Incredible Tassie motorcycle holiday My Partner and I spoke to Phil and booked a 6 night trip with TMTR on a Triumph Tiger 800. Phil was great to deal with, he was very responsive with any questions in my emails and he tailored the trip for us with a few changes that we asked for. Even though it was last minute he managed to organise an awesome trip with great accommodation for us to stay in. The whole route is mapped out on the GPS for you to follow a long, with all the best points of interest added. He gave us many options to choose from with stops for coffee, attractions and meals. The roads in Tasmania are incredible and Phil knows it like the back of his hand. He suggested a day out the saddle at the halfway point to do the Strathgordon river cruise which was an awesome addition and needed break. If you are looking to rent a bike in Tasmania and would like to remove the hassle of organising the trip I would highly recommend speaking to Phil and booking a trip through TMTR. The bike was well maintained and fun to ride, the routes were incredible and the accommodation was clean and quiet which was perfect for us.We had an incredible time and will be keen to do another trip with TMTR in the future.Thank you Phil.

Epic motorbike touring in Tazzie. Rode some epic routes on a 5 day self guided tour. Phil makes the whole experience stress-free. He will tailor your tour to suit your requirements and has a big selection of bikes to choose from. Some can be fitted with lower seats to suit and all come with programmed gps units, panniers and are set up for touring. He even picks you up to collect your bikes and drops you off afterwards. All your accomodation can be booked by Phil too. An outstanding Tazzie business that deserves its success.
